Identity comes from infrastructure a store cannot hide.
A storefront on the open internet leaves a trail. We read it continuously and score what we find, which is also how a dead store gets marked dead instead of padding the total forever.

Catalog and stack, read the way a browser reads them.
Catalog size is the most useful qualifying field in the schema: it separates a hobby store with four products from a real operation with four thousand. Detection is positive-only, so an empty field means we did not see it, never that the store lacks it.

Contacts are published, then verified. Scores are ours.
Addresses and numbers come off a store's own contact, about and footer pages. Nothing is bought from a broker, guessed from a pattern, or lifted from a social profile. Two fields are our own judgement rather than the store's, and we document how they are computed.

What the columns mean
51 columns per row. The bulk are self-explanatory: domain, store name, country, category, theme, installed apps, tech stack, first/last-seen dates. The ones worth a word are the email columns:
- Email 1–3
- The store's public contact addresses. In every tier.
- Email MX Valid
- Does the address's domain accept mail at all? A quick deliverability signal. In every paid tier.
- Email 1–3 Valid · Verification Status · Verification Score
- The real verification verdict per address: deliverable or not, the status (valid / invalid / accept-all / webmail / disposable), and a 0–100 confidence score. Verified tier only.

What database does Shopify use?
Shopify itself runs on MySQL, sharded across many pods, with Redis, Kafka and Elasticsearch around it. That is a question about Shopify's own infrastructure and it has nothing to do with this page. If you landed here looking for a database OF Shopify stores rather than the one Shopify runs on, that is what StoreRadar is: 2,678,045 stores, 51 fields each.
Does Shopify publish a list of its stores?
No. There is no official merchant directory and no export. Every Shopify store database on the market, including this one, is assembled by detecting stores through public infrastructure such as certificate transparency logs, DNS and storefront responses.
How complete is the coverage?
We detect stores that serve a public storefront on their own domain. A store that is password-protected, unlaunched or only reachable on a myshopify subdomain may be missing or partially described. We would rather report 2,678,045 stores we can stand behind than a rounder number padded with rows we cannot.
Can I query it without downloading the CSV?
Yes. The per-country, per-industry, per-technology and per-theme pages carry live counts and samples for free, and there is a JSON API for programmatic access. The full-database download is the $149 CSV.
