Terms of Service
Plain-English summary, not legal advice. We may update wording with counsel.
Last updated: June 13, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing or downloading the StoreRadar dataset ("the File"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't buy the File. These Terms are between you (or the company you represent) and StoreRadar.
2. What you're buying
StoreRadar sells a single CSV file ("the File") containing a snapshot of publicly available data about Shopify stores — store URLs, public contact details posted on storefronts, tech signals, and related metadata.
This is a one-time digital purchase. There is no subscription, no recurring billing, no login or password, no API, and no ongoing service. You buy the File, you download it, you keep it.
The File is a snapshot taken on a specific date. We may publish newer snapshots in the future, but a past purchase does not entitle you to future snapshots.
3. Price, payment, and delivery
The price of the File is shown on the checkout page (currently $149 USD, one-time). Payment is processed by our payment provider. We do not store your card details.
After a successful payment, we email a signed download link to the address you provided at checkout. The link is valid for 7 days. If you miss the window or lose the link, email us within 30 days of purchase and we'll re-issue it.
After 30 days, re-issues are at our discretion.
4. Your license
Once you've paid, the File is yours. We grant you a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive license to use the File for your own business purposes and for your clients' business purposes — sales outreach, market research, enrichment, internal analytics, building tools on top of the data, whatever fits your work.
You may: use the File inside your company, share it across your team, use it to deliver work for clients (an agency engagement, a freelance project, an internal tool).
You may not: resell the File as-is or as a substantially similar product, repost it publicly (GitHub, Hugging Face, torrents, public datasets, public buckets), or sub-license it to third parties as a standalone data product. Using insights from the File to build a derivative product (an enrichment API, a CRM integration, a research report) is fine; redistributing the raw rows is not.
Every File is watermarked with a buyer-specific signature. If a copy of the File shows up in public, we can trace it back to the original buyer. Leaks terminate your license and may result in a chargeback dispute or legal action.
5. Your responsibility when you use the data
The File contains public business contact information. How you use it is on you. You are responsible for making sure your outreach complies with the laws that apply to you, including:
- GDPR (EU)
- UK GDPR and PECR
- CAN-SPAM Act (US)
- CCPA / CPRA (California)
- CASL (Canada)
- Any local marketing, telemarketing, or data-protection law that applies to you or the recipient
StoreRadar is not your DPO, your lawyer, or your compliance officer. We are not responsible for fines, complaints, blocks, or platform bans resulting from how you use the File.
6. Data accuracy
The File is a snapshot. Stores close, owners change emails, phone numbers get disconnected, tech stacks shift. We do our best to filter dead stores and validate contact data at the time of the snapshot, but we do not guarantee that every row is accurate, current, or reachable on the day you use it.
Row counts and column descriptions on the sales page describe the snapshot at publication. Minor variance between the sample and the full file is normal.
7. Refunds
Because the File is delivered immediately and can't be "unsent," all sales are final once the download link has been issued — with two exceptions:
- The File is broken. Corrupt CSV, unreadable encoding, missing columns described on the sales page.
- Row count is materially short. If the delivered File contains substantially fewer rows than advertised on the sales page (more than a 10% shortfall), email us and we'll refund or re-deliver.
Outside those two cases, refunds are not available. A free sample is provided on the sales page; by purchasing, you confirm you've reviewed the structure of the data and are buying it as-is.
Refund requests: email jeanro@storeradar.io within 14 days of purchase with your order email and a description of the issue.
8. Removal requests
If you are a Shopify store owner and your store appears in our index, you can request removal at /removal-request. We honor verified requests by excluding the store from future snapshots within 14 days.
We cannot recall, edit, or destroy copies of the File that have already been downloaded by buyers. That is a real limit of selling data as a file rather than as a hosted service, and we want to be upfront about it.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StoreRadar is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising from your purchase, download, or use of the File.
Our total liability to you for any claim is capped at the amount you paid for the File.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms over time. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published on the day you bought the File. We won't retroactively narrow your license.
