Terms of Service
Plain-English summary, not legal advice. We may update wording with counsel.
Last updated: July 29, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing, subscribing to, or using any StoreRadar product ("the Services") you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Services. These Terms are between you (or the company you represent) and StoreRadar.
2. What StoreRadar offers
StoreRadar builds a dataset of publicly available data about Shopify stores: store URLs, public contact details posted on storefronts, tech signals, and related metadata. We offer it in a few ways:
- The one-time CSV ("the File"): a single download of the full dataset, a snapshot taken at the time of purchase. One payment, no recurring billing.
- Verified emails (add-on): for an extra fee, the File you download includes a deliverability verdict (MX, SMTP, and a verification score) on the email addresses. This is a best-effort signal, not a guarantee. See section 6.
- StoreRadar Annual (subscription): a yearly subscription that lets you download a fresh, verified export any day for the term, plus browsing access in Discover. See section 4.
- Discover: a browser tool to view and build filtered slices of the dataset without downloading the whole File. See section 5.
To buy or subscribe you confirm an email address through a one-time code (passwordless). We create a lightweight account tied to that email so you can access your downloads, manage a subscription, and use Discover. There is no separate password to create.
3. The one-time CSV and verified add-on
The one-time File is a snapshot taken on a specific date. You buy it, you download it, you keep it. A past purchase does not entitle you to future snapshots. The verified-emails add-on, when purchased, is included in that same File as additional columns.
After a successful payment we email a signed download link to the address you confirmed at checkout. The link is valid for 7 days. If you miss the window or lose the link, sign in to your account or email us within 30 days of purchase and we'll re-issue it. After 30 days, re-issues are at our discretion.
4. StoreRadar Annual (subscription)
StoreRadar Annual is a recurring subscription. For the yearly fee shown at checkout (currently $399/year USD) you get, for the term:
- Unlimited re-exports of the latest full dataset, downloadable any day.
- Verified emails included in every export.
- A fresh export emailed on a monthly cadence.
- Year-round browsing and slicing access in Discover, including stores that are masked for non-subscribers.
Renewal: the subscription renews automatically at the then-current price until you cancel. We'll charge the payment method on file at the start of each term. The renewal price is shown up front at checkout.
Cancellation: you can cancel anytime from your billing page. Cancellation stops the next renewal and your subscription features (fresh exports, Discover access) remain active until the end of the term you already paid for. Exports and Files you downloaded during the term are yours to keep under the license in section 7. See section 10 for refunds.
5. Discover
Discover lets you view and build filtered slices of the dataset in your browser. Some stores are masked for non-subscribers; StoreRadar Annual unmasks them for the term. Discover is provided as-is, without an uptime or availability commitment, and we may change, limit, or throttle access to protect the Service from scraping or abuse.
Data you access through Discover is subject to the same license and restrictions as the File (section 7). In particular, you may not use Discover, automated or otherwise, to reconstruct, scrape, or bulk-extract the dataset in order to make it available to third parties.
6. Price, payment, and data accuracy
Prices are shown on the checkout page (currently $149 USD one-time for the File, $99 for the verified-emails add-on, and $399/year for StoreRadar Annual). Payment is processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your card details.
The dataset is a snapshot. Stores close, owners change emails, phone numbers get disconnected, tech stacks shift. Verified-email verdicts reflect deliverability at the time of the check and can change afterward. We do our best to filter dead stores and validate contact data, but we do not guarantee that every row is accurate, current, deliverable, or reachable on the day you use it. Row counts and column descriptions on the sales page describe the snapshot at publication; minor variance between the sample and the full file is normal.
7. Your license
We grant you a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive license to use the data you receive (the File, any export you download under a subscription, and slices you build in Discover) within your own organization and to deliver work for your clients: sales outreach, market research, enrichment, internal analytics, and building internal tools for your own and your clients' work.
You may: use the data inside your company, share it across your team, and use it to deliver work for clients (an agency engagement, a freelance project, an internal tool).
You may not: resell the data as-is or in a substantially similar form, repost it publicly (GitHub, Hugging Face, torrents, public datasets, public buckets), sub-license it, or build or operate any product, platform, API, feed, or service that makes the data, raw or substantially derived from it, available to, searchable by, or visible to third parties. Using insights from the data to inform your own work or a client deliverable is fine. Turning the data into a product other people access is not, and that needs a separate commercial data license (email jeanro@storeradar.io).
Every File is watermarked with a buyer-specific signature. If a copy shows up in public, we can trace it back to the original buyer. Leaks terminate your license and may result in a chargeback dispute or legal action.
8. Your responsibility when you use the data
The data contains public business contact information. How you use it is on you. You are responsible for making sure your outreach complies with the laws that apply to you, including:
- GDPR (EU)
- UK GDPR and PECR
- CAN-SPAM Act (US)
- CCPA / CPRA (California)
- CASL (Canada)
- Any local marketing, telemarketing, or data-protection law that applies to you or the recipient
A verified-email verdict tells you whether an address looks deliverable. It does not tell you whether you have a lawful basis to contact that person. StoreRadar is not your DPO, your lawyer, or your compliance officer. We are not responsible for fines, complaints, blocks, or platform bans resulting from how you use the data.
9. Removal requests
If you are a Shopify store owner and your store appears in our index, you can request removal at /removal-request. We honor verified requests by excluding the store from future snapshots and from Discover within 14 days.
We cannot recall, edit, or destroy copies of a File that have already been downloaded by buyers. That is a real limit of selling data as a file rather than only as a hosted service, and we want to be upfront about it.
10. Refunds and cancellation
One-time File (and verified add-on). Because the File is delivered immediately and can't be "unsent," all sales are final once the download link has been issued, with two exceptions:
- The File is broken. Corrupt CSV, unreadable encoding, missing columns described on the sales page.
- Row count is materially short. If the delivered File contains substantially fewer rows than advertised (more than a 10% shortfall), email us and we'll refund or re-deliver.
Outside those two cases, refunds on the File are not available. A free sample is provided on the sales page; by purchasing, you confirm you've reviewed the structure of the data and are buying it as-is.
StoreRadar Annual. You can cancel anytime to stop the next renewal; access continues until the end of the paid term. We do not pro-rate or refund the current term once it has started, except where required by law. If a renewal charge was clearly unintended (for example, you cancelled but were billed anyway), email us and we'll make it right.
Refund or billing requests: email jeanro@storeradar.io within 14 days of the charge with your order email and a description of the issue.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StoreRadar is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising from your purchase, subscription, download, or use of the Services.
Our total liability to you for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms over time. For a one-time purchase, the version that applies is the one published on the day you bought the File. For a subscription, we'll give reasonable notice of material changes before your next renewal, and continuing the subscription after that means you accept the updated Terms. We won't retroactively narrow a license you already have.
